Letters to the editor published Wednesday, March 10, 2010 (Curry Coastal Pilot)- Topic: hypoallergenic dogs

Oregon is currently remodeling along the lines of professional engineering which is not only real annoying, but as far as freedom goes, it is useless pretensions actually invented to keep people from thinking about death. I don’t think that the park would be safe for the community if everyone thinks it’s okay to bring their dogs to a park remodeled for children, not dogs. When myself and my two children, both under four years, visited the park on Saturday, we found that the place we visited almost every day with impatient excitement during its renovation, was now off limits for us due to the dog in the baby swing leaving hair that would surely trigger the dreaded asthma attack. Current work of the Redfish Rocks Community Team is focused on working with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to develop a draft management plan for our local Marine Reserve and Marine Protected Area.

(hypoallergenic dogs) Business BriefS - The Daily News of Newburyport

Entrepreneurs Steve and Sue Bateman have opened their newly renovated, do-it-yourself dog wash establishment, Wash ‘n’ Wags, at 8A Beach Road in Salisbury. Wash ‘n’ Wags is your one-stop pet care center providing do-it-yourself dog wash, professional grooming for dogs and cats, pet product sales, drop-off service and even de-skunk wash. The facility has everything you need to wash your pet, including five custom elevated tubs, temperature-controlled warm water, wash brushes, shedding blades; professional grooming shampoo that is hypoallergenic, skin softening and fur-detangling; aprons, towels, dry brushes and dog dryers. Since their purchase of Wash ‘n’ Wags this past summer, the Batemans, 12-year Salisbury residents, have given their new business a complete makeover — painting the interior a cheerful yellow, upgrading the blow driers, tub hoses and sprayers; adding ramps to accommodate older dogs; and installing non-skid floors, air filters, a dehumidifier and industrial washing machines.

How Tulip and Daisy made a guy’s heart bloom (San Francisco Chronicle)- hypoallergenic dogs

Consultant Andrew Freeman and Yorkies Tulip and Daisy are inseparable. But after much debate and an awful lot of persistence on Mike’s part, I found myself driving to a farm in Reno to meet our new hypoallergenic Yorkshire terrier. At last we settled on Tulip and Daisy. From the Bark and Whine Ball to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ Dog Days of Summer event at the Westin St.
